新たなる木目の光
2020年に発表された新作で、薄くスライスされた木材である「突板（つきいた）」を用いたトレイ。三角形の突板を円になるように貼り合わせることで生まれた模様は、角度によって異なる色に見え、あたかも中心から光線を発しているかのよう。材料である黒檀は希少なもので、職人のこだわりが感じられます。

The light of new wood
A tray made of “tsuki-ita,” thinly sliced timber veneer. These paper-thin triangular veneers are arranged in a circular sunburst pattern, presenting different hues depending on the angle they are viewed from, as if light rays are emitting from the center.
