＜常滑焼＞

愛知県常滑市を中心に焼かれる焼締。六古窯の中でも最も古い歴史を持つ。鉄分の多い土を酸化炎で焼き上げる朱泥が特徴。

• 食器洗浄機、電子レンジ、オーブン、直火ではお使いいただけません。
• 表記されている容量は、満水時（蓋がある商品は蓋を受ける部分まで）の内容量です。実際に使用される際のお湯の量は少なくなります。
• 土に含まれる成分が表面に小さな黒い点として現れることがありますが、良品ですので作品の個性としてご理解ください。
• 手作業でつくられているため、一点一点風合いが若干異なります。

Artisan Seiji Ito pursues his desire to produce exquisite teapots that are both beautiful and functional. His teapots fit into our hands comfortably. This round, small kyusu teapot features Tokoname's signature red clay color, and a side handle called "yokode," a detail that is rooted in the tradition of Japanese tea ware.

Tokoname ware

Stoneware made mainly in Tokoname City, Aichi Prefecture. It has the longest history among Japan’s six ancient kilns. Characterized by its iron-rich red clay which are fired using oxidising flame.
