SAORI YAMAZAKI

Ceramic artist who was born in Asahikawa, Hokkaido Prefecture and now living in Kasama, Ibaraki Prefecture. In 2001, she became independent in Kasama after studying in Mashiko and Kasama. She mainly produces teaware such as teapots and houhins (tea server). The charm of her works is in her warm and calm style made by carbonized firing technique.
