Metalwork artist based in Osaka. After studying metal engraving in Tokyo, Takeo set up his own studio, where he mainly produces brass cutlery using carving and forging techniques inspired by his experiences traveling around various production regions and his encounters with folk art around Japan. He continues to make beautiful tools for daily life that embody the beauty of use.
