YUKO SEKINO

Glass artist based in Tanba Sasayama, Hyogo Prefecture. After studying product design and glass crafts, Yuko Sekino worked as an assistant to Takeshi Tsujino before going abroad to gain further experience. Yuko is currently engaged in the creation of glassware that blends seamlessly into everyday life at “SORTE GLASS,” a glassblowing studio she co-founded with her partner Ryo Sekino, in which she pursues her own unique expressions of glass inspired by bubbles.
